1. Data we collect
Name, phone, email, and (when you book) your stay details. If you sign in with Google we additionally receive your Google avatar URL. For phone verification we use MSG91 (an Indian DLT-registered SMS provider) — we never see or store the OTP code itself.
2. Why we collect it
To run your booking, comply with Indian hospitality regulations (Form C, GST), and to let you sign in again later. We will never sell or share it for advertising.
3. Past-booking lookup
When you sign up, we may look up past bookings linked to the phone number or email address you have verified. This lookup happens against our own database only.
4. Retention
Account data is retained as long as your account exists. Booking records are retained as required by Indian hospitality regulations. Deleting your account unlinks your bookings from your sign-in identity but does not erase the underlying stay records.
5. Your rights (DPDP Act 2023)
You may request access, correction, or erasure of your personal data by emailing hello@nebulanesthostel.com. We will respond within 30 days.
